Get This Right To Go Further With Your Training

There are some fundamentals

BASICS in fact!

Which we choose to go over with many of our members at Ignite

The Hinge Pattern is certainly one of those important basics

Please watch the video I have created which will teach you how to hinge effectively

Let me know if you have any questions!

Oh before I forget…

Here are the key points too!

  1. Pole sits on 3 parts of the body - Head, Upper back and between the glutes

  2. If the pole comes away from any of those 3 points as you hinge, it’s likely you are not keeping your spine in a neutral position

  3. Shins stay close to vertical during movement

  4. Toes to shoot forward as best as possible

  5. Remember the hips go back and forth, not up and down

  6. Be wary that your knees don’t buckle in

  7. You can swap arms (it’s likely the arm above will tire)
